This Event Code of Conduct applies to all events, activities, classes, competitions, sessions, and gatherings facilitated through or promoted on the FindPlay platform, regardless of location or format (in-person or virtual). It applies to all attendees, Play Providers, coaches, officials, volunteers, spectators, and any other person present at or participating in a FindPlay-facilitated event.
1. Purpose
FindPlay facilitates sport and fitness experiences that should be safe, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone. This Code exists to set clear expectations for conduct at all events facilitated through the platform, and to provide a consistent framework for addressing breaches across all markets in which FindPlay operates.
2. Expected Standards of Conduct
All persons present at or participating in a FindPlay-facilitated event must:
Treat all other participants, officials, volunteers, and staff with dignity and respect at all times.
Compete and participate honestly, in accordance with the rules of the sport or activity.
Follow the reasonable directions of event organisers, officials, coaches, and FindPlay representatives.
Respect the facilities, equipment, and property of the venue and other participants.
Refrain from conduct that is aggressive, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, or harassing toward any person.
Refrain from the use of prohibited substances in violation of applicable anti-doping rules.
Report concerns about safety, child protection, or misconduct to the event organiser or FindPlay as soon as practicable.
